Eric Prydz’ EPIC 4.0 Mega Media Installation

The installation uses Holo-Gauze (or Holo-G), a new type of large scale 3D hologram effect invented by AV artist Stuart Warren-Hill for his Holotronica 3D AV album show.

The album is good too. High quality electronic with beats. You’ll want to check out the show photos in the MixMag post.

The Garden of Earthly Delights VR

bosch garden (0-00-00-00)

It’s literally a trip. You start by choosing Earthly delights, heaven or hell. You pick one and enter the space, and are toured through it, with the ability to look all about. It then returns you to the choices.

I favor Earthly delights.

It’s supernice spatialization of the hallucinogenic painting, though the animation would have been better if it were s m o o t h e d out. Still, triplicious to be in a Bosch.

New App Lets You Explore Hieronymus Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights” in Virtual Reality

Yesterday, Colin Marshall told you how you could take a Virtual Interactive Tour Through Hieronymus Bosch’s Masterpiece “The Garden of Earthly Delights,” thanks to this website. Today, we discovered that there’s also an app (designed for iPhone, iPad and Android) that lets you take a virtual reality trip through the very same painting.

Archaeological Reminisence

In cardboard you move forward into the space, with the ability to look in all directions. It’s better on a big computer screen.
